Railz Miniworld is the largest indoor model railroad layout of The Netherlands. When you visit The Netherlands and the Rotterdam region you'll have to visit our attraction. You will see 500 sqm of model railway layout, including 200 sqm Rotterdam in Miniature.
A modelrailroad layout is a big and detailed world in miniature that tells a story, it's full of motion, it's full of lights and it generates sounds. It's much more than "just" modeltrains. Day and night on the layout are simulated by dimming the lights in the exhibitionhall and activation of thousands of lights on the layout.
Rotterdam in Miniature!
Almost 300 sqm of our layout features a miniature version of the city of Rotterdam. The most famous and special buildings of Rotterdam you can find here. Such as the Erasmusbridge, the Euromast, Hotel New York, the new Rotterdam Central Station and City Hall.
A complete attraction
The model railroad layout is the biggest part of the attraction. However there is more. Visitors can see how parts of the layout are built in the open workshop. In the commandcentre visitors can see how the modellayout is controlled. With tours behind the scenes you can visit parts of the modelrailroad that are normally not accessible for visitors. Last but not least there is a small restaurant and giftshop.
